    Very casual, easy experience and yes, it has that’s New England vibe to it. We went for dinner but it seems like it would be a better lunch vibe.The prortions were very generous and it has all the seafood classics you would want. I want too into the beer selection and thought they could have been more creative. If you’re in the area and want seafood, it’s worth it.

    Excellent seafood. To have better seafood, you'd have to fight through traffic to the coastline. I recommend making a reservation, as it's often quite busy. Also, their beer selection is superb.Try the clam chowder. Try the fried oysters.

    Serving some of the best seafood in Pasadena! Situated at the heart of beautiful Old Town Pasadena, Fishwives is a solid spot if you're looking for variety and a bit of a change from your usual American greasy food.Their ceviche is outstanding and so fresh; the fried oysters on devilled eggs were incredibly flavourful and cooked to perfection - with the right amount of crunch; the lobster roll was scrumptious with chunks of lobster meat in every bite; and their fish and chips were outstanding - featured a great crispy batter paired with their excellent fries. Everything that we ordered was great plus service was spot-on!Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for seafood in the Pasadena area.

    Oysters are really good and highly recommended. But all their food was good. Nothing was bad. I ordered the chef's dozen, scallops, lobster roll (is market price). We originally were seated in the booths but bc we had toddlers the staff moved us and it was much safer for our kiddos. Highly recommend getting reservations cause it does get crowded. They have outside seating in the back area. Fries are fresh and thick (hehe). We were trying to try as many things on the menu but couldn't get to it. Oh yeah I also recommend the clam chowder. Super buttery and smooth with a lot of clams!Parking: No parking lot so park in the old town Pasadena area. Can pay for street parking or lot parking.
